2 Days to Go!

Two days… 2 days… TWO DAYS!!!

I am a little wigged out that my book – Inside the Sun – will be released in 2 days. It’s hard to get my mind around that to be honest. I have so much to do, so little time, blah blah, you know the drill when launching something. Add on to that schooling my kiddos, working multiple jobs from home… the list goes on.

I think we all have a lot on our plates these days with the COVID-19 crisis turning life upside down.

I have to admit, I don’t mind all the changes this new normal lifestyle has brought for me.

Being home with my family is such a gift.
Launching a book online prompts new creativity and innovative thinking.
Staying healthy and home for the sake of world health is an important job.
Cheering on the grocery store workers, nurses, doctors, pharmacists, and other essential service employees is an honor for all they do for us.

These are strange times to say the very least. Amidst all the uncertainty, pain, and fear, we must cling to what we can to bring us joy. For me, that means celebrating the crap out of the release of Inside the Sun.

Author Read-Aloud of Chapter 1

You might be wondering what a “read-aloud” is. I know I had no clue what that meant until about a month ago. A read-aloud is just that: a person reads a book aloud. This phenomena has taken on new meaning now in our new normal with COVID-19 Coronavirus on the scene.

An author read-aloud is where an author reads aloud from their book.

I have done a few read-alouds now. I’ll share a couple others below…
